Le concert de l’Ensemble 2e2m, donné à Paris et dédié à la mémoire de son fondateur, mort le 15 septembre, a culminé dans une création de Bernard Cavanna.
Donné en création mondiale dans une nouvelle version, à l’effectif allégé, Scordatura déroule un tapis de souvenirs troubles devant la soliste Noëmi Schindler (émouvante dédicataire) qui doit utiliser trois violons accordés différemment avant de boucler l’œuvre avec un modèle pour enfant.
Savante et sensible, lyrique et pudique, cette musique de clown triste au sens noble en vient à transformer la salle de la Scala en chapiteau de cirque quand le chef se tourne vers le public et l’invite à battre des mains en cadence. Autour de lui, de la cornemuse à la mandoline, les dix-sept instruments requis pour cette projection onirique semblent tous sortir d’une formidable boîte à joujoux. Celle-ci a pour nom 2e2m et se voit destiner pour la première fois une œuvre de Bernard Cavanna, qui en a pourtant assuré la présidence et la survie au début des années 2000.

Ensemble 2e2m's concert in Paris, dedicated to the memory of its founder who died on 15 September, culminated in a creation by Bernard Cavanna.Given as a world premiere in a new version, with a reduced number of players, Scordatura unrolls a carpet of troubled memories in front of soloist Noëmi Schindler (the moving dedicatee), who has to use three violins tuned differently before completing the work with a model for children.This music, which is both learned and sensitive, lyrical and modest, is like a sad clown in the noble sense, and turns the hall of La Scala into a circus tent when the conductor turns to the audience and invites them to clap their hands in cadence. Around him, from the bagpipes to the mandolin, the seventeen instruments required for this dreamlike projection all seem to come from a formidable toy box.
